Role overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a Sonographer, you will play a key role in supporting physicians by performing ultrasound procedures that help detect and monitor various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols and referring physician requests. Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate images for diagnostic purposes. Explain procedures to patients, ensure comfort, and address any concerns they may have. Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times. Accurately document patient data and imaging results using the facility's electronic medical records system. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review images. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines within the imaging department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or Diagnostic Ultrasound. Valid licensure/registration in [UAE / DHA / DOH / MOH - as applicable]. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center.
