Job Overview:

The role is responsible for performing diagnostic medical ultrasound examinations using high-frequency sound waves, the Sonographer produces real-time imagies of patients' internal organs, tissues, and blood flow to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of scans including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies. Capture high-quality diagnostic images and recognize normal and abnormal anatomy/pathology. Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians by presenting preliminary findings and supporting accurate diagnoses. Maintain accurate records and input data into picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and hospital information systems Adhere to protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile scanning environment. Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Radiography Technology with an active Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license. Minimum of 5 years of experience acute care setting, preferably in Endoscopy * Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
