Role Overview
We are representing a leading UAV solutions provider serving clients across the UAE, GCC, and Africa. Known for delivering cutting-edge drone technology and customized aerial solutions, the company is now looking for a Solution Engineer with expertise in geospatial systems, surveying, and aerial mapping.
This role is ideal for candidates who bridge the gap between technical field operations and customer solution design, especially in industries such as construction, agriculture, oil & gas, infrastructure, and government services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end drone-based solutions for aerial surveying, mapping, and geospatial data collection
- Conduct onsite demos, POCs, and technical workshops for clients and resellers
- Analyze customer needs and tailor UAV solutions using mapping software, sensors, and flight planning tools
- Integrate and configure geospatial software (e.g., Pix4D, DJI Terra, Agisoft, etc.) for client deliverables
- Support the sales and business development teams with technical documentation, solution presentations, and field support
- Provide post-sales technical support, including training on data processing workflows and flight procedures
- Stay up to date on UAV industry developments, surveying standards, and regional regulations
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, or related technical field
- 1-3 years of experience in UAV-based mapping, GIS, or geospatial solution deployment
