Overview:

Solution Architect with domain expertise & experience in designing the solutions involving various payments/core/cards systems of the Financial institutions in the UAE region.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for understanding the various requirements with respect to the payments/cards systems, design & provide detailed solution design with the stipulated Nonfunctional requirements in place. Should create technical solution to specific business problems and requirements within the company's business strategy and considering the company's Enterprise Architecture roadmap. Present tactical and strategic options architecture and solution to senior management Manage and review application, data and technology component and building blocks from enterprise architecture perspective To maintain the technology options that will most appropriately support the Bank's required software systems. To ensure that current and complete documentation of the Bank's systems architecture and the interactions between those systems is developed and maintained. To ensure that scalability, disaster recoverability and system performance are adequately considered in all aspects of the overall systems architecture. To facilitate the effective integration of all systems operating within the Bank and, in particular, as new systems are selected and implemented. To Define Technology Roadmap and govern technology portfolio from Enterprise/Digital Application Architecture perspective Should provide solution in line with Agile and Devops oriented project delivery.

Qualifications:

Years of Experience: 10+


Essential skills:

A good understanding of the Payments, Card Issuing & Acquiring message and transaction flows and must have experience of integrating in-house applications with the 3rd party Fintechs or vice-versa.Must have the domain knowledge of the working of Card Issuing & Acquiring including gateways, ATM and Switch Must have Understanding on the ISO8583, MT & MX messages Must Have working knowledge Defining API Specification for REST or Web Services Must have knowledge of API & Interface governances, design standards and principles Must have experience to transform the user journey and experience with the help of latest technologies Should have knowledge in Cloud Deployments Should have experience to evaluate the technology partners and define their KPIs. Managing the life cycle of solutions, undertaking technology watch and developing proofs of concept for Payments & Cards systems. This is applicable to both on Premise & Cloud based components (especially AWS) Good to have working knowledge in application development/integration preferably Java, Spring framework(Boot, MVC,JPA), Angular, React Native, React web, TIBCO, WebSphere etc.

Desired skills:
AWS , Azure, Professional certification will be added advantage Knowledge and Experience in Cloud, DevOps, Agile development methodology Must be aware of Security standards, Data confidentiality, PII information & best practices of while defining the application architecture
