Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct risk assessments and site inspections regularly.
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards (including DM, DEWA, and Dubai Municipality requirements).
Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to workers.
Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare detailed reports.
Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Proven 2-4 years' experience in safety management, preferably in the solar or construction industry.
Additional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and requirements.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Hindi/Arabic is an advantage.
