to drive the growth of our solar energy system projects in Qatar. This role requires a consultative selling approach--educating prospects, guiding system design, and closing deals that support sustainable energy adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads via cold calling, networking, partnerships, and referrals.
Conduct customer consultations to assess solar viability, gather site data (roof orientation, shading, energy needs), and prepare accurate proposals if required.
Deliver tailored sales presentations that articulate financial, environmental, and energy-saving benefits including rebates, incentives, and financing options.
Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring a professional, transparent process.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and installation teams to guarantee seamless project delivery.
Maintain organized CRM records of leads, proposals, sales activity, and conversion status. Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reporting.
Stay current on solar technology, industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
Provide exceptional customer service through project completion and post-installation support.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Proven sales experience preferably in solar, PV equipment, renewable energy, or B2B technical sales.
Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Technical aptitude: ability to interpret site data (e.g. energy usage, roof assessments, shading, production forecasting).
Experience using CRM systems (e.g. ERP), MS Office tools, and sales analytics.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently to meet or exceed targets.
Willingness to travel to client sites, work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends when needed), and a valid driver's license.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years proven relevant experience in the field of Sales Engineering
Must Have valid Qatar Driving License
