Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Software & Web Application Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

to join our team in Doha. The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that all software systems and web applications meet the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance required for government-level projects.

You will work closely with developers, analysts, and project stakeholders to plan and execute testing activities, identify and resolve issues, and help maintain the integrity and reliability of applications before they are released to production.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze

system requirements and specifications

. Design, develop, and execute

comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts

. Perform

functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

. Identify, record, and thoroughly

document bugs and inconsistencies

. Collaborate with software developers and project teams to

troubleshoot and resolve issues

. Ensure that all applications comply with

quality standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements

. Document testing activities, outcomes, and provide clear

reports for management and stakeholders

. Support

continuous improvement of QA processes

and methodologies. (Optional) Work with

DevOps teams/tools

(Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes) to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in Arabic (mandatory requirement for government projects in Qatar).

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong foundation in

Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

. Proficiency in

programming, debugging, and scripting

. Experience in

manual and automated testing

of web applications. Knowledge of

embedded systems

(preferred). Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills

. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with

fluency in both Arabic and English

. Relevant

experience in QA or software engineering

is required.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience with

test automation frameworks

(e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress). Familiarity with

API testing tools

(e.g., Postman, SoapUI). Exposure to

DevOps practices and tools

(CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud environments). Knowledge of

government IT standards and compliance requirements in Qatar
