Role Description:

We are seeking a talented Freelance Software QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance efforts of our software development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, writing test cases, and conducting automated and manual testing of our client-side applications. They will work closely with our development team to identify and address defects, ensuring the reliability and functionality of our products.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and address defects and ensure timely resolution. Conduct automated and manual testing of client-side applications built on Node.js, Next.js using CypressJS or similar frameworks. Test APIs using Postman or Cypress to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Perform testing of native applications on Android and iOS platforms to ensure compatibility and performance. Contribute to software release plans and go-to-market strategies, ensuring smooth and successful product launches. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Document and report bugs and issues, providing clear and concise descriptions and steps to reproduce. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles, preferably in software development environments. Experience working with

CypressJS

is a must. Strong understanding of client-side applications, particularly those built on Node/NextJS. Experience in testing APIs using Postman or similar tools. Experience testing native applications on Android and iOS platforms. Excellent command of the

English and Arabic languages.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
Job Type: Contract

Pay: AED3.50 - AED7.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
