Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Software Tester to join our technology team and ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our digital products. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to test software through both manual and automated testing methods. This role demands strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to identify bugs and suggest improvements in usability and performance. You will be a key contributor in maintaining high standards of software delivery and enhancing the overall user experience.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product specifications and user stories Collaborate with developers and project teams to understand application features and identify potential risks and errors Perform thorough manual and automated testing across different platforms, browsers, and devices to ensure optimal functionality Report bugs and track them through the defect lifecycle using standard bug tracking tools Conduct regression testing and re-testing to verify bug fixes and maintain product stability Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying testing gaps and suggesting process enhancements Document test results clearly and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders on product quality Work in close coordination with the QA lead to ensure timely delivery of testing phases for each release
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline Previous experience working as a Software Tester or QA Analyst, preferably in Agile development environments Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies Familiarity with automated testing tools TestNG is highly desirable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly document test cases and report issues Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
