, we are looking for a skilled

Software Tester

to join our onsite team in Dubai. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our digital products and platforms through effective testing processes.

You will collaborate closely with the development team, executing functional, regression, usability, and performance testing while taking ownership of defects and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

Play a key role in software quality improvement for websites and back-office applications. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures (manual and automated). Identify and document clear and concise bugs in the tracking system (e.g., JIRA). Perform functional, regression, usability, performance, and cross-browser testing. Test fixes for developers and verify resolution of reported issues.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality releases. Identify and prioritize bug fixes needed for future versions. Apply industry best practices in software quality assurance and introduce new tools or processes where beneficial. Maintain a strong understanding of core systems and testing standards.

Process & Documentation

Ensure all QA activities meet established expectations and timelines. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, reports, and procedures. Oversee testing metrics, ensuring performance benchmarks are met.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role preferred. Proven experience in web-based application testing, including manual and automated testing. Experience working with both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies. Strong understanding of test automation processes and tools within CI/CD environments.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with PHP / Laravel, Angular, and JavaScript-based applications. Experience with responsive and cross-browser testing. Understanding of REST-based API testing. Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Git, Selenium, JMeter, Jenkins, and Cucumber.

Skills & Qualities:

Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work under pressure. Passionate about technology and quality excellence. Interest in design, architecture, or product design is a plus.
