We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our technology team, focused on building and optimizing high-performance trading systems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and infrastructure specialists to develop robust, scalable, and innovative solutions that directly impact our firm's trading operations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize high-performance trading systems and real-time applications. Collaborate closely with traders, quant analysts, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions supporting quantitative trading strategies. Develop robust, scalable software components to manage market data feeds, order execution, and risk management processes. Ensure system reliability through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and deployment practices. Monitor and improve system performance, latency, and throughput in a fast-paced trading environment. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in production systems swiftly and accurately. Maintain comprehensive documentation of software systems and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and system support. Participate in regular code reviews and adhere to established coding standards and best practices. Contribute to continuous innovation through researching new technologies and tools to enhance the trading platform. Mentor and support junior engineers.

Requirements

BS/BE in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline 2 to 5 years of hands-on software development experience Proven experience delivering and maintaining production-level systems Strong understanding of APIs, database design, and system architecture Excellent programming fundamentals Ability to lead discussions, make sound architectural decisions, and deliver results Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset * Resilient, self-driven and aligned with Cobblestone's values
