Software Engineer – Dubai
Description
Want to work in a dynamic environment at the intersection of Wall Street and Technology? Advent Software, a leading provider of award-winning software and services for the global investment management industry, is looking for another Software Engineer to join our diverse and talented team!
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients, management, technical team, QA, etc. to design new product features and/or deliver requirements on-time and to specification.
- Work effectively with international clients and evaluate client business processes as part of requirement gathering sessions.
- Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Analyze and identify problems/gaps/issues/bugs.
- Deepen Advent product knowledge through successful completion of Advent’s certification programs.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 2 to 10 years’ experience in software development, ideally in banking/financial institutions
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, SQL Server, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a dynamic team environment
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and expectations
- Proven ability to present complex technical information to varying groups of people
- Fluency in English

- Prior experience in Banking/Financial industry
- Proven aptitude to learn complex technical and theoretical information in a timely manner
