Job Description
Our client is a one of the world’s largest independent energy and commodity groups focusing primarily on energy commodities from Crude and Refined oil products, to power & gas, coal and emissions, through to freight, metals, and agricultural products. They are looking for a proactive and driven hands-on Software Developer who is passionate about technology and has experience developing enterprise-wide solutions. As a Software Developer, you will ideally have the following skill set/ experience:

- Significant years of experience in a Commodities trading and Risk Management environment
- Experience developing enterprise applications (Risk Management platforms) with strong knowledge and development expertise in Java and service oriented technologies like REST, JSON, Protobuf, Spring Boot, Drop Wizard
- Experience with DevOps tools like JIRA, JUnit, GitLab, Artifactory, Docker, Kibana, Prometheus
- Exposure to Cloud – either AWS or Azure - and understanding of its utilization in a hybrid environment
- SQL and relational database experience
- Web development using modern frameworks like ReactJS desirable
