Upholster and stitch a variety of furniture pieces including sofas, chairs, ottomans, and other upholstered items according to design specifications and quality standards.
Cut, sew, and assemble fabric or leather materials to cover furniture frames.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
Collaborate with designers, craftsmen, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of materials and tools.
Proven experience as an Upholsterer or similar role, preferably in a furniture manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including fabric cutting, sewing, and pattern matching.
Knowledge of different upholstery materials and their characteristics.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy furniture pieces.
