Social Media Specialist - Travel & Tourism (Arabic)
Job Summary:
The Social Media Specialist in Travel & Tourism will create, curate, and manage engaging content across social media platforms to promote travel services, destinations, tours, and packages. The role focuses on audience engagement, driving bookings, enhancing brand presence, and growing online communities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Management
Develop engaging posts, videos, reels, blogs, and graphics showcasing destinations, hotels, tours, and travel experiences.
Schedule and manage content using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
2. Strategy & Planning
Design social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
Research travel, tourism, and digital marketing trends to stay ahead of the competition.
3. Community Engagement
Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Build relationships with followers, travel influencers, and tourism boards.
4. Analytics & Reporting
Monitor performance metrics, including likes, shares, engagement, CTR, and conversions.
Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations for campaign improvement.
5. Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, sales, content, and creative teams.
Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and tour operators for content creation.
6. Advertising & Campaigns
Manage paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads) targeting travellers.
Optimize campaigns for ROI and lead generation.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube.
Professional graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
Excellent writing and communication abilities.
Understanding of travel trends, customer preferences, and the tourism industry.
Analytical mindset for interpreting data and adjusting strategies.
Creativity and storytelling skills to make destinations appealing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Tourism, Communication, or related field.
3-5 years of social media or digital marketing experience, preferably in travel/tourism.
Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and online advertising is a plus.
