Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall marketing and brand objectives.
Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, tools, platforms, and best practices.
Content Creation & Management:
Plan, create, edit, publish, and share engaging daily content (original text, images, videos) across all relevant social media channels.
Develop and maintain a social media content calendar and syndication schedule.
Ensure all content is consistent with the brand's voice, style, and values.
Community Engagement:
Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "social voice" that reflects the brand's personality.
Moderate all user-generated content in line with moderation policies.
Engage with key influencers and other brands to build relationships and grow the community.
Campaigns and Advertising:
Design, launch, and manage social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
Assist in the planning and execution of paid social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager).
Analysis and Reporting:
Continuously capture, analyze, and report on the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices.
Use analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform insights) to track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measure campaign performance.
Identify actionable insights to optimize and improve future social media performance.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Customer Service) to manage reputation, coordinate campaigns, and ensure cohesive messaging.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist, Digital Media Specialist, or similar role.
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
Demonstrable social networking experience and proficiency with social media analytics tools.
Knowledge of online marketing channels, SEO, and web traffic metrics.
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented, with good multitasking and organizational ability.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
1 year of experience managing social media for a brand or business.
Proficiency in graphic design or video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a strong plus.
