Job Announcement Social Media Producer
The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking for a Social Media Producer to administer our social media accounts our office in Dubai. MBN is a non-profit, multimedia broadcaster that provides news and information to audiences in the Middle East and North Africa through television, radio, and digital properties in support of US diplomacy. The Social Media Producer is responsible for producing breaking and trending news stories across social platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

The Social Media Producer is responsible for producing breaking and trending news stories across social platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
SPECIFIC DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities noted below are considered the essential functions of the job
- Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Generates edits, publishes and shares engaging content daily - in close coordination with the editorial and creative teams.
- Creates original text, images and video content.
- Creates and manages publishing calendar across all platforms.
- Monitors interactions, analyzes data and provides recommendations.
- Efficiently tagging content and input metadata before publishing.
- Monitors SEO and traffic analytics.
- Supports new methods of drives audience engagement.
- Occasionally communicates with followers, responds to certain queries according to pre-defined community guidelines.
- Oversees social media accounts\xe2\x80\x99 design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
- Suggests and implements new features to increase reach, boost brand awareness, and enhance engagement and interaction.
- Stays up-to-date with current technologies, trends in social media, design tools and applications.
- Experiments with content creation and distribution strategies for new platforms.
OTHER DUTIES:
The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- At Least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or relevant field.
- Proven work experience in social media management and hands-on experience in writing for social media.
- Knowledge of SEO and keyword research, Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
- Knowledge of all types of online and social media analytics & insights.
- Knowledge in video and graphic programs (i.e.Adobe Suite) and excellent copywriting and rephrasing skills.
- Excellent communication, Analytical & multitasking skills.
- Outstanding in writing catchy yet meaningful headlines and captions.
- Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule to support 24/7 news environment.
