What Does a Social Media Manager Do?
As Social Media Manager, you will take full ownership of Dicetek's digital voice across multiple platforms. Your mission is to boost brand visibility, enhance audience engagement, and support lead-generation goals across all company entities. This role demands a blend of creative thinking, content planning, and analytics-perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and business objectives
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish original content across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube
- Manage social calendars and ensure consistent messaging across channels
- Support brand and marketing campaigns with timely social media coverage and promotions
- Monitor platform activity, respond to comments and messages, and ensure community standards are maintained
- Track engagement, growth, and ROI through detailed monthly analytics reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to support PR, customer engagement, and event coverage
- Maintain a strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and UAE market behavior
- Assist in developing creative concepts, storyboards, and promotional campaigns
- Ensure accurate representation of all Dicetek entities across social platforms
- Coordinate with external vendors for visual content, videography, and live coverage if needed
What Skills Are Needed for a Social Media Manager in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on social media management in the UAE
- Proven experience handling diverse accounts in-house or via agencies
- Experience managing multilingual content (English and Arabic)
- Proficient in campaign planning from ideation to execution
- Photography and video editing skills are a strong advantage
Skills:
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written
- Excellent copywriting and content creation abilities
- Deep understanding of regional and global social media trends
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to content strategy
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, reporting dashboards, and ad platforms
