Growing from a team of less than 30 consultants, APCO today has over 150 people from 32 countries working in teams across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Manama, and Kuwait. Our projects also take us to Cairo, Amman, Muscat, Beirut, and other markets in the Levant.

The social media and digital Manager will partner with clients to develop, launch, and optimize their social media communications plans. We're looking for someone hands on-to help develop great social media content plans and execute them. This person will have an instinctive understanding of how to maximize the results of every post and campaign we publish across digital platforms and be able to demonstrate impact by understanding how to analyze and present data. In addition to client-oriented solutions, you will be expected to think of new research projects, methods, and social media products APCO can develop to provide value in new ways. You will be proactive, spark debate and seen as a resource able to consistently deliver high quality, actionable social media content and plans.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Manage client social media content development for channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Twitter and other platforms Create new accounts for clients on social media channels Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on client sites, and encourages audience participation Provide live social media coverage of client events and client engagement in events Work as part of a team to develop sizable and successful social media strategies, plans and campaigns Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content and audience engagement Analyze and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects on a monthly basis or as required by clients Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits

Competencies Digital content writing Social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter Strong written and oral communication capabilities General understanding of social media analytics and how to evaluate success of social media campaigns Knowledge and understanding of analytical tools - Facebook Blueprint, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, HubSpot or Twitter Flight School Content Ideation and campaign mapping Ability to present ideas to colleagues and clients Account management and client servicing Understanding and awareness of trends in digital and social media communications Strong understanding of the tools and processes used in managing social and digital media communications campaigns and activations An understanding of the pros/cons of major digital and social media platforms, and how they interact

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or an or equivalent field Two to three years of relevant experience Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) Prior experience in managing government and/or corporate social media accounts and/or campaigns and activations Strong familiarity with common social media and digital communication tools such as: - Hootsuite Social Marketing Certification - Google Analytics Certified - Facebook Blue print certified

Work Conditions: The physical abilities needed to perform the duties of this position, in addition to the office climate Office environment is general office setting Some travel may be required Must reside in Riyadh or be willing to relocate Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations Work can be at the client offices, pending any security clearances
