Role Overview
As a
SOC Delivery Lead
, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of Security Operations Center (SOC) services to our clients, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to SLAs, and continuous improvement. You will lead a team of security analysts and engineers, oversee incident response processes, and act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery Management:
+ Ensure SOC services are delivered in alignment with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
+ Oversee day-to-day SOC operations, including monitoring, triage, incident response, and reporting.
Team Leadership:
+ Manage and mentor SOC analysts across multiple tiers (L1, L2, L3).
+ Drive performance reviews, training plans, and career development initiatives.
Client Engagement:
+ Serve as the primary liaison for client communication regarding SOC operations.
+ Conduct regular service reviews, provide operational reports, and manage escalations.
Process & Quality Assurance:
+ Implement and maintain SOC processes aligned with industry best practices (ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001).
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and operational efficiency.
Incident Management:
+ Oversee major incident handling, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
+ Ensure timely escalation and coordination with internal and client teams.
Compliance & Governance:
+ Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and client-specific compliance mandates.
+ Maintain audit readiness and documentation for SOC operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Experience:
+ 8+ years in cybersecurity operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
+ Proven experience managing SOC teams and delivering managed security services.
Technical Expertise:
+ Strong understanding of SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), EDR solutions, and SOAR tools.
+ Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Certifications:
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred; ITIL Foundation is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
