Description

Responsibilities:

Responsibility for agreeing monthly valuations.
Cost control and management of design and build project.
Budget control
Ability to manage subcontractors accounts/interim valuations;
Preparation and Management of Subcontracts suppliers and material Procurement Schedules.
Procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers.
Preparation of Internal Costs / Value reports on a monthly basis.
Ability to negotiate with contractors, suppliers with a view to agree final accounts.

Qualifications:

Ideally a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar construction related subject.
Minimum of 8 years experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the UAE with a Main Contractor
Experience working towards tight deadlines and budgets, dealing with interim payments.
Experience in pricing projects.
Strong personal skills with excellent command in English (speaking and writing).
Excellent client-relationship skills.
Well-presented and professional with flexible approach to work.
A Team player with the willingness to show initiative and drive at work.
Available to relocate to Abu Dhabi if not based there already.
