We are seeking a nurse to join our clinical team and support our veterinarians in delivering safe, efficient, and empathetic care.
Role Overview
The nurse is responsible for hands-on animal care, assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures, monitoring and coordination of inpatient care, nursing procedures, and client education.
You will work closely with veterinarians, reception/administration staff, and other nurses to ensure smooth workflow, accurate documentation, and ensure a positive experience for clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and surgeries.
Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats of various sizes.
Monitor hospitalized patients, including checking vital signs, assessing pain, and supporting recovery.
Assist with anesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation.
Perform wound care, bandage changes, catheter placements, medication support, and patient hygiene.
Perform basic in-house lab tests and help with imaging preparation.
Maintain accurate and clear patient records.
Communicate effectively with veterinarians, colleagues, and pet owners to support smooth clinic operations.
Essential Requirements
Background in nursing, healthcare, or veterinary care.
Confident and comfortable with animal handling, dogs and cats (including anxious or reactive animals).
Basic understanding of animal health, veterinary terminology, anesthesia, and nursing procedures.
Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment.
Strong communication skills and a positive, compassionate approach toward pets and clients.
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment and take responsibility for patient welfare.
