Summary of Role
We are seeking four highly skilled and motivated Sites Engineers with extensive experience in the UAE's fit-out and renovation sector. The successful candidates will be responsible for the on-site execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will act as the key technical link between the project management team, consultants, subcontractors, and the client on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution:

• Review all project documentation including drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand the full project scope.
• Assist the Project Manager in developing detailed project schedules and work plans.
• Oversee day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring all activities align with the project plan.
• Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and direct labor, ensuring seamless integration of different trades.

2. Technical Management:

• Provide technical guidance and solutions to on-site challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and progress against benchmarks.
• Supervise all fit-out and renovation works, including but not limited to: joinery, masonry, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), false ceilings, partitions, flooring, and finishing.
• Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per approved specifications and quality standards.

3. Quality Control & Assurance:

• Implement and enforce the company's quality control procedures on site.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed work and materials upon delivery.
• Identify and rectify any defects or non-conformities promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of quality checks and reports.

4. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Enforce strict adherence to all company HSE policies and UAE regulatory requirements (e.g., DM, Trakhees, AD EHS).
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all personnel on site have the necessary safety training and PPE.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized site at all times.

5. Communication & Reporting:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's representatives on site for day-to-day matters.
• Liaise with consultants (architects, engineers) to resolve technical queries and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Document all site activities, including minutes of meetings, site instructions, and variation orders.

6. Administration:

• Manage site logistics, material storage, and equipment allocation.
• Monitor material consumption and assist in inventory control to prevent wastage.
• Review and verify subcontractors' progress for interim payment applications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of proven UAE experience specifically in interior fit-out and renovation projects.
• Sector Experience: Must have hands-on experience with high-quality commercial, residential, or hospitality fit-out projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite is essential. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
