Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe installation and operation of all equipment. Conduct regular site and equipment inspections to identify potential hazards. Review and enforce compliance with safety regulations and installation standards. Address health-related complaints and implement corrective actions for recurring hazards. Analyze site operations and equipment performance to generate accurate statistical reports. Maintain comprehensive safety records, reports, and meeting minutes. Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures on-site. Conduct safety inspections and audits of drilling and excavation activities. Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to site personnel. Investigate incidents and accidents, recommending corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety legislation. Prepare and submit regular safety reports to management.

Qualifications:

Experience in the UAE or Gulf region preferred. Prior experience as a Safety Officer in construction, drilling, or excavation projects. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Certification in occupational health and safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) is highly desirable. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain effective under pressure, particularly in emergencies.
