The role involves implementing QA/QC protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with site teams, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver precise execution and quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor QA/QC plans specific to aluminum and facade works on-site.
Inspect incoming materials, ongoing installations, and completed works to ensure compliance with technical specifications and approved standards.
Coordinate site inspections, client walkthroughs, and consultant approvals.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including:
Inspection Requests (IRs)
Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals to ensure alignment with QA/QC requirements.
Ensure correct execution and quality of facade elements, including:
Curtain walls
ACP cladding
Structural glazing
Louvers and aluminum doors/windows
Identify, document, and escalate quality issues; ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain comprehensive QA/QC logs, including daily inspection reports, testing data, and quality records.
Participate in internal and external quality audits in accordance with ISO standards and project-specific QA procedures.
Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and conducting QA/QC training sessions for site staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
4-6 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in aluminum and facade installation projects.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficient in facade systems such as unitized, stick, ACP, spider glazing, and curtain wall systems.
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and installation details.
Coordination Skills:
Experience liaising with consultants, main contractors, and third-party inspectors.
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail, strong documentation abilities, and effective communicate
