Job Purpose

The Site Project Engineer will oversee, coordinate, and execute interior fit-out projects on site. The role involves ensuring quality, timely delivery, safety compliance, and coordination between site teams, subcontractors, and management.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and project schedule. Coordinate with project manager, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth execution. Manage manpower distribution and monitor productivity. Ensure quality control and conduct regular inspections of ongoing works. Monitor and report project progress with daily/weekly updates. Review material requests and coordinate with procurement for timely delivery. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site. Resolve technical/site issues in coordination with the design and project team. Verify subcontractor work completion before approvals and payments. Maintain documentation of site records, drawings, and approvals.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in interior fit-out projects in the UAE. Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, drawings, and construction methods. Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQ, and specifications. Good knowledge of local authority rules and approval procedures (Dubai Municipality, DCD, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
