About the Project

We are a leading producer of limestone aggregates in the UAE, currently delivering over 1.1 million tons per month of construction aggregate, cement flux, and raw materials for the building industry. We are seeking a Site Operations Manager who will act as the right-hand to the Project Head, overseeing all site-level operations and ensuring production quality, budget control, and people management with maximum efficiency and integrity.

Role Summary

The Site Operations Manager will be responsible for monitoring daily production, managing a workforce of over 200 personnel, ensuring machinery uptime, optimizing diesel usage, and delivering actionable insights from operational data. This is a high-stakes leadership role with direct accountability for production outcomes, compliance, and cost performance.

Key Responsibilities

? Oversee daily production and compare output against defined targets

? Investigate root causes of production shortfalls and lead timely resolution efforts

? Monitor and optimize cycle times of mining equipment (dumpers, loaders, excavators, trucks)

? Analyze production, diesel consumption, maintenance costs, and cycle time reports to generate data-driven insights for next-step actions

? Lead and motivate a multi-level workforce of 200+ (operators, drivers, laborers, foremen, engineers)

? Evaluate team member performance, recommend hiring, promotions, or terminations as needed

? Ensure strict compliance with UAE mining regulations, site safety, and environmental standards

? Track performance and preventive maintenance of machines from brands like Caterpillar, Komatsu, Zoomlion, Sachman, etc.

? Maximize diesel efficiency, reduce wastage, and prevent pilferage

? Oversee haul road maintenance, dust control measures, and material recovery at mining face

? Maintain cost control over production operations, including overtime, fuel, and equipment maintenance

? Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports with actionable insights

Performance Evaluation

The selected candidate will undergo a 1-month on-site probation which includes:

? Operational audits

? Diesel and cost efficiency studies

? Labor and logistics management

? Leadership under disruption scenarios

? A weekly reporting structure and final review by the Project Head

Performance during this period will determine long-term employment.

Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in Mining, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

? Minimum 5 years' experience in site operations for aggregate, cement, or mining projects

? Proven ability to lead large site teams and manage daily production targets

? Strong understanding of equipment performance, fuel optimization, and preventive maintenance

? Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and daily dashboard creation

? Fluency in English and Hindi (Arabic is a plus)

? High levels of integrity, accountability, and field leadership
