Site Manager

Purpose and Scope:

The Site Manager will manage all operational functions and activities at the designated site. Acts as primary point of contact for customers at the work site level and directs the accomplishment of site specific program goals and monitors and reports their achievement. Manages the operating budget, manpower, resources and facilities in performance of contract responsibilities. Responsible for and adheres to all aspects of government and corporate standards. Position reports to the Program Manager.

Job Summary Manages a wide and broad variety of services and accompanying labor force for assigned locations to include power generation personnel. Plans, coordinates and supervises all contract activities and serves as the principal representative for the company in all matters pertaining to the contract. Oversees scheduling of work assignment and workloads in accordance with operational tasking and maintenance requirements. Coordinates and maintains positive and effective relationships with military and local government officials. Develop and implement program modifications and improvements in accordance with long-term and strategic planning. Recommend and schedule approximately 1.5K repairs with zero delays and during sustained operations while ensuring safe work practices and standard operating procedure compliance. Provides direction and leadership to all site assigned personnel. Manages all department managers/staff assigned to site operations. Prepares and submits site labor/non-labor budgets, forecast estimated costs and control subcontractors Manage and oversee more than 500 monthly facility inspection projects while auditing and accounting for 450+ property line items. Direct stocking, storing, issuing, management, inventorying, and inspections of supplies and equipment at the assigned site. Manage fuel storage and site facility across military base infrastructure and provide comprehensive operations site management to guarantee proper and timely equipment maintenance for all facilities. Lead and implement programs, policies, and procedures to ensure clean, safe, and sustained facility operations for military entities. Oversee and develop generator maintenance plan to ensure 100% compliance of six-megawatt power plants, to include support of generator systems. Coordinates scheduling with all departments to ensure training exercises are properly staffed Manage staff and a vast, potentially aging fleet of large, diesel engine, power generators. Controls service contracts in support of site operations Write and implement policies and procedures regarding all aspects of power generation operations, service, and maintenance Troubleshoot power generation issues via telephone, internet, and site visits to determine best course of action for setting up or bringing power generators online to support customer Ensure all power generation departments are operating in a safe, professional manner according to applicable company policies and OSHA regulations Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide project controls, estimating, and scheduling groups with pertinent data for project estimates Provide briefings to military and civilian leaders on state of power generation in support of the program Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with leadership at all levels and with key internal and external personnel. Coordinate and collaborate with leadership interacting with U.S. Embassy and/or higher headquarters. Represent the organization with a wide variety of installation and functional entities during concurrent military and coalition forces training events. Advise stakeholders concerning local laws and regulations as well as logistical requirements and limitations. Oversee monthly procurement activities and purchasing expenses Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects. Responsible for personnel, finance, training, supply systems and support services necessary for the contract. Ensure proper parts, supplies, and materials are ordered in automated database, stocked, and received for an aging fleet of generators located throughout assigned area. Ensure all required spreadsheets and reports are submitted to customer on time with accurate information Provides for sufficient and viable contract performance through effective leadership of the site, to include compliance with quality and safety/environmental standards. Communicates new requirements, concerns, and issues to PMO for resolution. Responsible for keeping the Company, Corporate Management, and interested US Government personnel apprised on current status of operations. Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Minimum ten (10) years of experience in logistics, project management, operations management or facilities management/maintenance field Minimum four years of experience in management of related field Associates degree or equivalent combination of academic/technical/military training and experience preferred. Prefer candidate to have experience with managing money, especially petty cash accounts and the recording of cash. Prefer candidate to have experience managing subcontracts and local procurement. Prefer candidate to have experience handling real property and the accountability of property Must have experience working with US government/military personnel to include host nation military personnel. Must have experience with working in a multi-cultural environment and managing OCNs Possess excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills. Desktop computer skills are essential with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products and should be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations. Position requires frequent travel between sites Must have a valid driver's license Must have ability to obtain and maintain a secret US security clearance Must have ability to obtain passport. Must be a US Citizen Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication and constant mental alertness. Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines. Position requires routine travel to site operating locations.
