Site Engineer-Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled Site Engineer with strong expertise in steel structure erection. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in the UAE and contribute to the successful delivery of a wide range of construction projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and oversight of civil and steel erection work, ensuring every project meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage steel erection and civil construction projects from start to finish, keeping them on time and within budget. Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather essential data for design and construction, with a focus on steel structures. Prepare, review, and interpret technical drawings and specifications related to steel erection projects. Ensure all civil and steel works adhere to local regulations and building codes, including those specific to Dubai Municipality. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and on-site teams to ensure seamless project execution. Supervise on-site steel erection activities, confirming that all work aligns with design specifications and safety protocols. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track. Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, with a focus on steel erection logistics. Prepare detailed progress and quality reports for all project stages. Conduct quality checks on steel materials and workmanship throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to the tendering process through estimation and technical bid evaluations.
Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (must be UAE-attested). At least 2 years of professional experience in a civil engineering role in the UAE, with a strong preference for experience in

steel erection

. A valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License. You must currently be available in the UAE and ready for face-to-face interviews. A Dubai or other Emirates Municipality Engineer License is preferred. Proficiency in English and either Hindi, Arabic, or Urdu is required for effective communication with a diverse workforce. A solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management. Proficiency in relevant software such as

AutoCAD

MS Project

, and

Excel

. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and external partners. A demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially those related to working at heights and with heavy materials.
