. The ideal candidate will ensure that fabrication and erection are completed according to project specifications, safety standards, and within deadlines. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, contractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise erection and installation of structural steel components on-site.
Develop erection sequences, lifting plans, and method statements.
Review and interpret structural and fabrication drawings.
Conduct inspections and quality checks for welding, fit-up, and alignment.
Enforce strict compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.
Monitor site works against contract specifications and project drawings.
Prepare site reports and progress documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and design engineers.
Identify and resolve technical/site issues.
Support Project Managers in day-to-day project operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in steel structure site works.
Strong knowledge of
steel fabrication, erection methods, welding, and connection details
.
Familiarity with UAE building codes and approval procedures.
Excellent site supervision and coordination skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Candidate Requirements
Must be available to work
6 days/week (Mon-Sat)
, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Strong technical expertise in steel structure works.
Salary package:
Less than AED 10,000
.
