We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Engineer specializing in traffic signal works to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the on-site execution of traffic signal projects, ensuring that installations and modifications are completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
Supervise and coordinate the on-site activities of traffic signal installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to plan and prepare for upcoming projects.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor construction activities to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct inspections and tests to verify the proper installation and functioning of traffic signal equipment.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies on-site to maintain project quality and integrity.
Safety Management:
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Address and report any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure effective project coordination and communication.
Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Liaise with stakeholders to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, site reports, and inspection results.
Prepare and submit detailed progress reports and documentation as required.
Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible for future reference.
Technical Support:
Provide technical guidance and support to on-site personnel during the installation and maintenance of traffic signals.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to traffic signal systems.
Ensure that all equipment and materials used meet project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with a focus on traffic signal works or related civil engineering projects.
Proven experience in managing on-site construction activities and teams.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of traffic signal systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
