Role Overview:

We are seeking a

Civil Site Engineer

to join our team and act as

COENGR's representative on-site

for project in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with engineering consultancy firms in RAK and possess strong knowledge of

local regulations, authorities, and procedures

. Familiarity with

RAKEZ

requirements will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent COENGR at the project site and ensure that all construction activities comply with

design specifications, authority standards, and regulatory guidelines

. Supervise and monitor site activities, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely project delivery. Review and approve materials, shop drawings, and method statements. Liaise with stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities, to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project progress. Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports for management. Ensure strict compliance with

RAK Municipality regulations, RAKEZ standards

, and other relevant local authority requirements. Identify potential risks or delays and propose corrective measures proactively. Support in handover procedures, snagging, and project close-out documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

2-5 years of relevant experience

, preferably with an

engineering consultancy firm

in Ras Al Khaimah. Strong knowledge of

RAK Municipality regulations

,

RAKEZ procedures

, and other local authority guidelines. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts professionally. Proficient in project management tools and MS Office Suite.

UAE driving license

preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Strong understanding of

construction supervision

and quality control. Knowledge of local environmental and sustainability regulations. Experience with documentation and reporting in line with consultancy standards.
