Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor civil engineering works on-site including foundations, concrete works, earthworks, roads, drainage, and utilities. Interpret and review construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to plan and execute construction activities. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines. Assist in preparing progress reports, daily logs, and documentation related to site activities. Identify and resolve technical issues and provide on-site solutions to keep construction work on track. Monitor material usage and availability, ensuring proper handling and storage of civil construction materials. Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site. Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed during the project lifecycle. Ensure all works are executed according to engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience (5 -10years) as a Site Engineer or similar role in civil construction projects. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands. Proficiency in relevant software tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel) is a plus.
