Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven

Site Engineer - Civil

to join our project execution team. The ideal candidate should have

at least 8 years of hands-on experience

in supervising civil construction activities, ensuring work is executed as per project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. You will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth on-site operations and timely completion of works.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Monitor construction progress and report site updates to project managers and senior engineers. Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings and ensure proper implementation on site. Coordinate with subcontractors, laborers, and vendors for material delivery and task execution. Ensure quality control procedures are followed and raise any non-conformance issues for corrective action. Maintain daily site records, including work progress, manpower, materials, and equipment usage. Assist in resolving any on-site technical issues in coordination with the design and project management team. Ensure adherence to project timelines, cost efficiency, and productivity targets. Implement safety and environmental protocols and ensure workers follow safety regulations. Support in the preparation of work schedules, progress reports, and site inspections.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum

8 years of relevant experience

in civil construction projects (building or infrastructure). Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering practices, materials, and construction methods. Proven experience in managing on-site activities and dealing with subcontractors and consultants. Familiarity with construction safety standards and QA/QC processes. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Valid Qatar Driving License (if applicable and required by company).

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous work experience in GCC region is highly desirable. Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards. Professional certification or membership (e.g., PMP, MMUP/UPDA) is an advantage.
