Overall, in charge for implementation of all works required in the construction of the project from mobilization to handling over.
Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the site.
Prepare daily program to assure of achieving the target program of the project.
Attend regular meeting with the client, consultant, and subcontractors.
Coordinate with the consultant to discuss and provide solutions needed for the completion of the project.
Coordinate with head of departments for arranging materials and subcontracts to complete construction projects.
Preparing of variation claims and obtaining consultant / client approval.
Coordinate with all required government authorities for all required approvals and permits.
Follow up planning engineer for program for work and updates.
Assure of implementation of the QA/QC & HSE Plan.
Follow up with consultant and client for approvals of materials, subcontractors and shop drawings.
Follow up with purchase department for material ordering and delivery
Follow up with contract department for subcontractor agreements and approval.
Prepare and draft correspondences.
Review and submit of monthly progress payment
Review and approve all monthly payment for subcontractors.
Review and approve all document required for time extension for the project if required.
Follow up with site team for manpower daily allocation and productivity.
Any task as per the company & job requirement.
Review, prepare the tender documents and enquiries as well as tender quantity take off.
Attend the pre-mid meeting and site visits.
Assist in obtaining 3-5 bids for each trade and supplier group.
Assist in preparing the comparison of submitted subcontractors' prices.
Coordinate with the other departments to fulfil the tender requirement.
Assist in preparing the tender commercial comparison, technical tender preparation and tender submittal.
Oversee and review consultants and contractors to ensure judicious use of materials for project, prepare variation of BOQ when needed.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies
Any other tasks as per the company & job requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Civil
10-15 years' experience in similar roles
AUTOCAD and other design and project management tools
