About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Site Accountant

to manage financial operations at our project site. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and site-based financial management, with the ability to work independently and ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations at the site. Maintain accurate records of all project expenditures and revenues. Monitor site budgets, cash flow, and cost controls. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to head office. Reconcile site accounts and manage petty cash. Handle vendor and subcontractor payments, and ensure proper documentation. Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. Liaise with project managers, procurement, and head office finance teams. Ensure timely payroll coordination and employee expense reimbursements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a site/project-based role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Experience in [Construction/Engineering/Manufacturing] industries. Knowledge of project-based accounting.
