* The CIP (Contract Instructor Pilot) will conduct simulator operations and simulator flight training for the MH-60R aircraft. * This training will include but not limited to aircraft systems, operating procedures, tactical employment of the MH-60R aircraft and to include flight briefs and debriefs. * The CIP will assist in teaching, updating and maintenance of related curriculum syllabi, which will include but not limited to instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, computer-based training, classroom lectures, and other tasks as the CIP MH-60R Flight Simulator Instructor. * A CIP must be, or have been, a qualified helicopter aircraft commander in the MH-60R command or qualified MH-60R CIP within the preceding (5) years, completed at least one operational tour, possess both rotary and fixed wing experience and have a minimum total of 1000 flying hours in combination of military or civilian flight time, 800 of which must be in model. * FRS instructional tour preferred. * The applicant must be a US citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US passport. Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance allowing access to classified information. * Requires mental alertness and acute concentration for long periods of time during training scenarios. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. * Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time (2 hours+), be able to climb 2 flights of stairs, to climb open grated ladders for cockpit access, to lift and carry 50 pounds is required. * Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
