Operate the bus safely and courteously on assigned routes.
Pick up and drop off an employee.
Follow traffic laws, transportation procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain order and ensure the safety of all passengers on board.
Report accidents, breakdowns, or delays to the dispatcher or supervisor immediately.
Assist passengers with special needs, such as elderly or disabled individuals.
Keep records of passenger counts, mileage, fuel usage, and inspections as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
Proven experience as a bus driver is preferred.
Strong understanding of traffic rules and safety procedures.
Ability to remain calm and professional in emergencies.
