Measure, cut, assemble, and join wood, plywood, and other materials for formwork and shuttering.
Construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, including columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
Ensure precise measurements and alignment as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and work area to ensure safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other workers to meet project timelines.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations at the construction site.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a shuttering carpenter in construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Good knowledge of materials, tools, and carpentry techniques.
Physical fitness and stamina to work in challenging site conditions.
Teamwork and time-management skills.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Technical training or certification in carpentry is an advantage.
Work Environment:
Outdoor and indoor construction site settings.
May require working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
