Ensure all responsibilities of a Shop Manager during his absence and jointly control and direct store management in presence of Shop Manager Ensure customer service/sales takes priority over tasks Exhibit and promote high standards of internal customer care Optimise sales in line with company budgets ensuring right product at right time Ensure all sales opportunities are maximised through effective use of all promotional/marketing opportunities Ensure effective merchandising layout implemented in relation to sales targets and store objectives, utilising merchandising standards as set out in section 3 Monitor and continuously seek to understand commercial environment, local trading patterns, competitor activity and market trends in the retail sector and their impact in store Monitor handling of customer complaints in line with Company policy and seek regular feedback Manage operating costs within budgetary guidelines To maintain strict levels of confidentiality with regard to all areas of the business particularly commercial information and personal details of employees Carry out regular and relevant in-store training, audits and enrol staff on relevant Learning and Development courses Ensure store expectations and priorities are communicated to staff and regularly review and provide feedback on staff's performance against expectations Optimise the use of support resources, including the Visual Merchandising Coordinators, Trainers, Dept Supervisors, Cashiers, Back store staff etc Ensure regular showroom staff meetings are carried out to communicate business goals and training delivered Interpret and act on operational profit and sales reports generated through finance and focus on improving under-performing areas Job Type: Full-time Salary: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
