Shopify Web Developer

to manage and elevate our online storefronts, ensuring fast, seamless, and visually elegant eCommerce experiences.

Your Role:

As our in-house Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify websites for OVO LUXURY SIGNATURE and selected client brands. You will work closely with our design and brand teams to deliver well-built, high-converting, and beautifully styled online stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and services Optimize website performance for speed, mobile UX, and SEO Translate design mockups (Figma or similar) into functional front-end builds Ensure site stability, manage backups, and maintain version control Troubleshoot technical issues and implement responsive fixes quickly

Requirements:

Proven experience with Shopify development, theme editing, and app setup Strong skills in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiarity with mobile-first UX, SEO fundamentals, and conversion best practices Ability to work full-time on-site in Dubai (Monday to Friday) High attention to detail, proactive attitude, and strong time management Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

Basic graphic skills using Figma, Canva, or Photoshop Familiarity with third-party integrations (e.g., CRM, payment gateways) Knowledge of performance tools and analytics
