Main Objective of the Role

To develop, enhance, and maintain a high-performing, user-friendly Shopify storefront through innovative design, effective SEO, and results-driven marketing strategies. The position ensures optimal user experience, strong website security, and continuous improvement to support business growth and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Shopify storefront, ensuring high performance across desktop and mobile. Design and customize Shopify themes based on business requirements. Implement SEO strategies to boost website ranking and visibility. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute eCommerce strategies. Implement and manage Google Ads campaigns to increase traffic and conversions. Execute all phases of the Shopify development lifecycle. Analyze data from Shopify and Google Analytics to optimize online strategies. Work with UX/UI teams to translate concepts into user-friendly web experiences. Troubleshoot technical issues related to web development and system integrations. Ensure the website is optimized for higher conversions and user satisfaction. Stay updated with emerging web development trends and technologies. Implement security measures to safeguard the website and user data. Conduct regular testing and debugging to maintain performance and stability. Document development processes, updates, and user guides. Develop reusable code and libraries to support future development. Perform additional duties assigned by the Group IT Manager and/or top management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

Experience in building and setting up Shopify stores. Experience customizing Shopify accounts based on business needs. Experience conducting user-access training. Ability to resolve Shopify-related issues quickly and effectively. Experience collaborating with external freelancers (e.g., Fiverr) for Shopify development.

Preferred Experience:

5 years (8 years total post-qualification experience)

Skills & Certifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience with Shopify and Premier Pro Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication abilities Strong networking and strategic thinking skills Ability to work under pressure and deliver results

Working Conditions

Full-time, 8 hours per day 5 working days (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) Work Location: Dubai (Umm Suqeim 2, Jumeirah) Travel: Local or international travel may be required

Salary:

Up to AED 6,000
