Job Summary:

The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maximizing sales, managing inventory, and leading a motivated team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with retail experience and a passion for delivering a high-quality shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of shop operations. Lead, coach, and develop staff to achieve sales goals and service standards. Ensure the shop is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times. Handle inventory management, stock ordering, and loss prevention. Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies for growth. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and health regulations. Process financial transactions, manage cash, and reconcile daily sales. Report regularly to upper management on performance and operational matters.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a retail or shop management role. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of retail operations, stock control, and customer service practices. Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or business is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed (up to 50 lbs) Working hours : 10 hours with weekly off
