Job Description
TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations. Tasks and Responsibilities
Tasks: The team leader performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments, and for the movement of material within the DC. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules, and requirements, and ensure that the team is meeting customer expectations for quality and service. They provide guidance, direction, and support for their team, and assist the supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the department. Responsibilities: Leading daily GO meetings
Loading and unloading trucks upon arrival as required.
Completing data entry and system inquiry.
Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, but not limited to, scanning, labeling, wrapping and completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing material.
Process picks as required and ensures team’s productivity in picking is meeting expected daily targets.
Packs and labels product for shipment and ensures team’s productivity in packing is meeting expected daily targets
General housekeeping of work area and maintenance of 5S standards.
BAC+2
Minimum 1 year in WH position
Strong keyboarding and computer skills
Good communication skills
Experience using SAP is a plus
Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties
Forklift Certification: periodic recertification required

BAC+2
