Ship Repairing Supervisor

Job Description
Supervises and participates in the maintenance and operation of sea-going vessels. Inspects maintenance and repair work to insure procedures and materials comply with specifications. Recommends modifications and changes. Maintains preventive maintenance programs for marine equipment and vessels. Consults with research personnel in the design of marine equipment. Requisitions supplies and materials for maintenance and repair work. Maintains appropriate records and prepares various operating reports. Operates sea-going vessels. Performs related work as required. Considerable knowledge of marine maintenance and repair. Considerable knowledge of the operation and maintenance of diesel and gas engines, pumps, compressors, generators, and auxiliary equipment common to marine vessels. Considerable knowledge of coast piloting and navigation. Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems. Ability to supervise the work of others. Qualification-Diploma/B-Tech Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- SHIP MECHANICAL SUPERVISION: 5 years (Preferred)
