JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for the shift operation in coordination with interdisciplinary Team to minimize the downtime to achieve the daily production target as per given business plan Respond to plant breakdowns immediately, and carry out the necessary repairs. Awareness of Standards / SOPs. JOB ROLE Report while attending and relieving the duties. To fulfil the safety compliance in plant operation and maintenance to develop safety culture in plant with target the Zero harm Handle Manpower and ensure that manpower strength is as per requirement in shift. Handle shift independently with responsibility of plant operation and to ensure real time reporting for any down time. Maintain the production log book, pre-casting, EOT crane, mobile plant equipment\xe2\x80\x99s & machinery check list Maintain the shift wise production and same to be post in SAP with physical verification of data and also maintain the all-process consumption record. FO /LPG /POWER / Tab cast/ Cera blanket / Bayrite etc. Ensure all workers are wearing PPE\xe2\x80\x99s in good condition. Check at the time of entry at security gate. Maintain all rules and regulation in shop floor. Follow all safety rules and trained worker for following safety rules. Take immediate action and report to senior authority if there any violation of safety rules and SOP. Motivate and spread awareness among workers for productivity and operation in all departments. PEPTALK to be given in shift wise for workers & Make attendance record. Ensure housekeeping in plant and 5S on shop floor maintained. Competency / Requirements Technical Expertise in reading layouts and schematic drawings. Process parameters control. Minimum diploma or degree in metallurgical / chemical engineering with 5 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years in similar industry. Functional Awareness about standards of M/s Vedanta. 5S, Quality circle, SGAs, KAIZEN, CIPs and other development initiatives. Behavioral Punctuality. Team Player. Responsive.
