Position: Female Tailor
Location: Dubai
Department: Retail - In-store Alterations
Working Hours: Retail shift schedule
Our company is looking for a Female Tailor to work in our store. You will help customers by doing alterations, fittings, and small custom changes to women's clothing. You will work with customers and the sales team to make sure all clothes fit perfectly and look great.
Responsibilities:
Do alterations on clothes bought from the store.
Help customers during fittings and take correct measurements.
Suggest simple changes to improve the fit or style of the clothes.
Do hemming, resizing, tightening/loosening, repairs, zipper changes, and small restyling.
Use sewing machines safely and correctly.
Work with the retail team to finish alterations on time.
Keep the tailoring area clean and tidy.
Make sure all work is high-quality and customers are happy.
Write down and keep track of all alteration orders and delivery dates.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a tailor, preferably in a retail environment.
Ability to take accurate measurements and complete alterations quickly.
Familiarity with fabrics used in retail fashion.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
