About the role
The main role of the Service Technician is to execute modernization / retrofit orders, Provide efficient accurate maintenance, repair, modernization activities on refrigerant devices/ systems of Carrier customers \xe2\x80\x93 aligned with the provided dispatching and EH&S rule set.

Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- Technical Education to self-reliant work on complex refrigeration systems (electrical and mechanical)
- MS Office \xe2\x80\x93 user knowledge
- Standard PM-times, standard repair times, FTF, productivity 1, productivity 2, reported sales opportunities.
- UAE driving license.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- Technical Knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 willingness to gain constantly new technical knowledge according to the demands in the field.
- Good communication/team-player \xe2\x80\x93 to customers, as well as to supervisors, dispatchers or colleagues
- Time Management \xe2\x80\x93 any activity must be performed in respect of the given timeframe - persistent, focused on targets/results, flexible, working independently and in teams.
Responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:
- Perform modernization, retrofit job execution within the given standard-times and CCR standards and preventive maintenances within the given standard-times and follow the service sales process.
- Perform repairs (troubleshooting) according to the dispatching instructions within the given standard-times.
- Represent Carrier in front of the customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Willingness to provide 24/7 stand-by duties according to the operational plan.
- Ensure on-time delivery of field reports (job sheets, protocols, \xe2\x80\xa6) with completeness and quality data.
- Cooperating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identifying and ordering needed spare parts and ensure a Risk Assessment is conducted and documented prior to all works to be carried out.
- Work with due care in respect of EHS/ ethical codex for yourself, customers and the general public. Keep tools and equipment in good functional condition - keep company vehicle in good/ clean condition.
- Manage Van inventory aligned with finance \xe2\x80\x93 perform at least once per year a detailed inventory check.
- Pro-active identify sale opportunities, as well as potential cost risks (full service) and report these to the back office.
