Your tasks

• Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Support project and onsite engineer by timely completion of installation and supervision of installation of contracted equipment, such as: o mounting and unmounting, connecting of racks and devices in racks/desks/consoles, incl. power-on testing, o laying/installing, testing, repairing of cables and setting connectors on cables (cables being: electrical, RF/coax, optical fiber, signaling/Ethernet), o mounting, unmounting, checking of antennas and infrastructure in heights, incl. rigging, o preparing, installing, verifying and documentation of labels/labeling in systems, o attending to vehicular installations and vehicle maintenance tasks, e.g. for customer mobile test and measurement systems;
• Support system service engineer and conduct Preventative maintenance on customer equipment: o radio telecommunication equipment (receivers, transmitters), o associated IT equipment and IT infrastructure (e.g. servers, routers, switches, work stations), o telecommunication shelters and antenna towers, o Infrastructure (e.g. Aircon / Electrical distribution / Mechanical Systems / Generators / UPS and batteries);
• simple fault finding in systems (device level);
• onsite supporting to customer for material handling, incl. unboxing, visual checking and simple device tests;
• onsite supporting to engineers and sales personnel by: o preparing and conducting demo setups, o testing and preparing presentation systems, o supporting to engineers to conduct site surveys, o testing and measurements;
• Preparation of performance and service reports, and fault descriptions;
• Provide repair/maintenance support to customer on-site and in Lab/ Warehouse for defective equipment during warranty.
