Overview of the role:
We are seeking a highly organized Service Supervisor to lead and manage workshop operations, ensuring optimum utilization of labor and resources. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction by aligning repair jobs with technician capabilities and ensuring compliance with safety and warranty guidelines.
What you will do:
We are seeking a highly organized Service Supervisor to lead and manage workshop operations, ensuring optimum utilization of labor and resources. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction by aligning repair jobs with technician capabilities and ensuring compliance with safety and warranty guidelines.
What you will do:
- Allocate job cards based on technician skills and workload to maximize throughput and reduce vehicle downtime.
- Review pre-order parts forms and coordinate with the Parts department to ensure timely availability.
- Perform quality checks on completed jobs to minimize return work and customer complaints.
- Supervise warranty job processing, ensuring documentation aligns with manufacturer requirements.
- Monitor workshop performance KPIs, including hours sold vs. idle hours, and prepare performance reports for management.
- Oversee communication between service advisors and customers to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Ensure technicians are trained, tools are functional, and safety standards are followed across the workshop.
